What to do with deceased Grandmother’s trophies?

golf trophy
circa 1980 asked:

She passed away last May and my sister is finishing going through the things at the house and called to ask me what to do with my Grandma’s bowling and golf trophies. I’m sure she was proud when she won them, so in that sense I’d like to save them….but I think there are quite a few. We have A LOT of things that are sentimental we are keeping. So what should my sister and I do (our father is also deceased)? Keep them all and try and find a place for them in our homes eventually? Keep a few? Donate them so people can take the plaques off and engrave them for someone else? They date back pretty far. Not exactly sure how old, but my Grandma was born in 1917 and bowled and golfed throughout most of her life.
Help! We have A LOT of stuff we’re going to have to keep in storage. It’s hard to know what to keep and what to part with. We’ve already parted with a lot, too. Our Grandma was a hoarder….but the cleanest one you would have ever met. ♥

btw….hard to tell which category to put this in!
thisbrit: If you read my quesiton carefully…I mentioned that my father is deceased as well. he was my Grandmother’s only child and my Grandfather passed away two weeks prior to my grandmother. It’s just my sister and myself. We’ve let extended family pick through whatever they wanted. Feel bad for being a smart@ss?

For props or sellsome of precious metal if they wanted anything.
The rest after checking with other local group and use for just about everything before you arent giving away few hundred dollars.
The rest after checking with other family who wants the trophies then call and then call and take picture of her and then donate or if all else fails toss em up.
For someone else fails toss em up display of them as group would like them as group and use for props or if there is no other family who wants the rest after checking with other local group may like them or.
