Should I put Dr Scholls in my golf shoes?

A H asked:
I am trying to extend the life of my Footjoys. I am thinking of putting some Dr Scholls gel insoles in my golf shoe.
Is this a good Idea?
Do I put thr Dr Scholl over the old insole, or remove the old insole and place the new gel in its place?

An arch too tight with both in if your shoes might make you may over stress your shoe feels too tight.

Sure, why not? You may need new spikes, anyway.
