How do i remove the mud stain from my white pants?

So the other day i was playing golf in polyester white pants, seemed like a good idea before it started to rain.
So i have mud stains all the way up to my knee!
i have washed the pants in a normal load, and the stains did not come out, then i tried doing a load with bleach, and the stains got a little lighter, but still very noticeable.

Are these pants ruined?
