How can I keep a golf shirt collar from becoming distorted?

Almost all my golf shirts, after being laundered a few times, get permanently wrinkled or distorted, so that they look really bad. Nothing seems to fix the problem.

Not sure myself, possibly starch? Sometimes you can iron them back into shape.

Too late - you may have to press. Line dry new ones and restyle the color prior to hanging it. Be sure to buy an inflatable hangar or attach the plastic shoulder shapers to your hangars so that you won’t get those “funky” looking shoulders with the points.

Try a different brand OR
Have them professionally cleaned & ironed OR
Simply start to wear T-shirts instead.
