Get him a gift cetificate for lessons. I am 38 years old and have been playing for about 6 years now but just got lessons last year. It didnt make me Tiger but it sure did help. After that maybe a gift certificate for a round of golf for him and a friend at his favorite course. Good luck.

For golfers it keeps liquids cool on the coarse and looks like real golf kooler klub is great.
