Buying golf clubs as a gift?

I would like to surprise my husband with a new set of clubs for his birthday. Any suggestions on namebrand, etc.

A little additional info: he is not an avid golfer. He goes maybe once a month or so. He loves to golf, but isn’t Tiger Woods so I’d like to keep it reasonable. I know some clubs are very, very pricey.
