Are wool slacks appropriate for playing golf?

I am playing in a fancy charity golf tournament later this week and I’m curious if I have to get new pants or if I can just wear my wool slacks.

I have pleated and non pleated (look a little more casual).

Any help is appreciated.

      you’ll sweat to death . wear cotton if ya can . but if ya cant afford it - youll be ok in those . might get hot - but you’ll look fine
