John Smith asked:

Until you’ve experienced the ping of a well-struck golf ball and then with every sinew in your body willed it to land in the right spot, you will probably look at the game as a pointless obsession taking up acres of space. Critics joke that golf on the BBC is really several hours of shaky televised sky, which is a bit unfair as it’s also televised grass, trees and high fashion. But there must be something in it. Why else would they spend every spare hour on the fairways, whatever the weather, and proudly occupy the no 1 spot in the lightning strike charts?All things considered, it’s not our place to ask such questions. Golfers probably find your hobbies equally as mystifying. So if your dad is a golfer, Father’s Day might be a fine time to give him a little something that will either help his game or remind him of it when he’s doing other things … just in case he’s not already thinking of ways to improve his swing.As we’re GettingPersonal.co.uk, it will come as little surprise that we have a range of one-off Gifts that put the recipient’s name or a personalised message right in the picture. We can spell out his name in all manner of golfing scenarios, and make up calendars, mugs and books in his honour.Golfers love gadgets. It’s a sport that relies heavily on ingenious little devices that enhance the player’s experience, and they just happen to make great Father’s Day Gifts, too. Top of the list has to be our golf ball monogrammer, which can print three letters onto all his golf balls so he’ll never get into an argument about whose ball is in the bunker. We also have a high quality digital scorer and tee set (note: not a tea set) to make him the envy of all those thrashing him hole after hole.Jokes and puzzles might not immediately spring to mind in a game whose professionals rarely display much in the way of humour, especially with people who are thoughtless enough to cough as they are lining up a shot. But there certainly is fun to be had on the golf course. Exploding golf balls, anyone? Flat-topped tees? They’re all here. And they come in a pack with a book detailing golf’s wickedest and funniest practical jokes. For contemplative moments, how about a golf-themed puzzle? Releasing balls has never been so much fun.Experience Day gifts might bring to mind images of driving racing cars or having hot cucumber oil rubbed into the eyeballs, but for golf-loving dads, we have some very interesting Father’s Day gifts. If he’s an accomplished player he might like the gift of a round of golf on one of Britain’s best courses. Or if he’s still climbing the learning curve, a lesson with a professional might meet his needs. We even have a choice gift, which lets him decide which of the experiences he would like (or need) the most.So as you can see, for golfing Father’s Day Gifts, GettingPersonal.co.uk could raise his spirits just as much as a couple of hours in the clubhouse. And he’ll no doubt thank you for it by disappearing to the fairway at the next available opportunity!

Robert Riles asked:

Golf tournament gifts are must haves for people organizing hole-in-one tournaments. They make great souvenirs and even fun prizes for your tournaments.

To engage in golfing is really fun. It makes you relaxed. This experience can be made even more exciting if you get golf tournament gifts from organizers. These are tournament gifts and prizes that you can truly be proud of.

Indeed, there are lots of fun and excitement in store when you play golf. The great thing is you can even make your friends more motivated and welcome if you have golf tournaments gifts ready for them after one refreshing day with the greens. Not only that, you can also engage your spectators if you also have something for them as a sort of memento.

Golf tournament gifts mostly are in the form of accessories. There are golf accessories that will surprise and delight golf lovers of all types. Surely, any golfer wants to have these things placed on their very own golf accessory collections.

These golf gifts can also be novelty golf items. They are usually sports-themed golf balls, wonderful wacky golf clubs, golf gags, latest golf games, books, photos and prints, and even funny and personalized golf designs.

These designs, gifts and items are really among the best possessions that every golf lover wants to have. These are really special matters that are precious and even priceless for some.

Some of these one-of-a-kind golf accessories are commonly known as novelty golf tees, tools and aids and club head covers. Other golf accessories are GPS range finders and retrievers. These come out in different designs and features.

On the other hand, unique golf prints appear so funny and colorful with different themes and characters. There are Disney collection golf tools, Chapman’s golf holes, Koffman’s Klub Golf and Kimpton’s Funny Sides.

One very good example of a golf tournament gift is a putter. Especially designed putters are available in various colorful and exciting designs.

You can also accessorize your game equipment, your bag and even your homes with the wide collection of golf items you can get. You can definitely personalize these items on your own.

Personalizing golf tournament gifts is one good proof of your love for the game and to the people who play it, too. A personalized golf coaster set is one good starter. This can be waterproof and richly detailed coaster with personalized prints.

With the growing number of online shops that cater for this kind of service you have a wide range of options to choose from. You can browse and see for yourself the bulk of shops that give regular and discounted rates for golf tournament gifts.

Whatever golf tournament gifts you decide to give or share to golfers or spectators, it’s really the thought that still counts. But of course if you can make these gifts more beautiful and exciting… that will definitely make it even better. So why do you have to hold up the excitement and fun when you can always make your gifts even better?

Edwin

Bradlley Mckoy asked:

Have you been thinking about the gifts men would love to have? Just ask your friends. They’ll tell you that it is really difficult to come up with gift ideas for men, but it won’t hurt to give something stylish like one of those pocket watches or pocket watch accessories.

Men Have Their Favorites, Too

When it comes to gifts, men have their favorites, too. But if it were your task to choose one gift for the boss, you’d be stumped for ideas. You’d want something he would be eternally grateful for, something that would earn remarks like: “Oh great! This is just the very thing I needed!” Well, your golf gifts or pocket watch accessories could elicit this response.

But men are not sentimental or mawkish when it comes to gifts. As long as they can use it, the gift is perfect. But for all you know, men have their favorite gifts such as:

* power tools;
* DIY kits;
* a relaxing massage at the spa complete with a hot bath;
* superb home cooked meals;
* a ticket to the ballgames;
* video games;
* something he can show off.

The moment a motorhead gets a tool set, you can expect him to start tinkering with his motorcycle. Or, if a voracious reader gets the book he likes, he’ll be leafing through it in no time. Gifts like watches, pocket watch accessories, wallets, and label makers are valued by men who love gizmos and fashionable knickknacks. As always, the gifts should be carefully selected to cater to personality and interests.

What Not to Give Men

Just watching the males in the family can clue you in to the gifts they love to hate. If you’ve been giving your brother the same pair of socks for Christmas or his birthday, expect the gifts piling up somewhere. Perhaps you’ve also seen those unused bottles of scents and unused T-shirts because these were either too small or too large.

Don’t give men gift certificates if they’re the type who forget where they placed their reading glasses or haven’t the time to shop; the gift certificates may be forgotten or misplaced.

Don’t give a man a poem, scrap books, pink sweaters, and tickets to piano recitals unless he likes the stuff. You might also think that just because you love Britney Spears he’ll go crazy over Spear’s latest CD. His taste will differ from yours, so be careful when deciding on a gourmet basket.

Gifts to Pamper the Man You Love

For the man you love, it is easier to drum up gift ideas. You know his fashion sense, his sports, his favorite TV shows, and movies. To appeal to his fashion sense, give him a pocket watch and pocket watch accessories and those stunning personalized cufflinks. For the love of his game, you can always give a poker set, golf accessories, or that NFL barware.

Gifts that show you care about their health and well-being are blockbusters when it comes to gifts for men. A heart exercise video for the physically inactive can start him on a healthier lifestyle. These are just subtle reminders that he has to take care of himself, too.

Gifts for your man will always vary according to his shifting interests. Give him what he needs to look and feel better and to keep himself occupied. He’ll love everything you give him, fro pocket watch accessories to cool leather gadgets.

Gregg Hall asked:

When you wonder about golf gifts for women, you may be thinking what kind of things just a women golfer might need that she doesn’t already have. It may be a surprise to some, but the best golf gifts that you can give are the ones they can use on the course. There are many golf gifts for women that are made just for women, to be used on the course.

Some of the most useful types of gifts for women to use on the course could be as simple as tees, balls, golfing gloves and other small items that are useful that you can stuff into a smaller bag. You can look at these types of gifts as a golf basket instead of a gift basket. Items like these placed in a small bag are items that a women can use on the course so she doesn’t have to worry about looking for them when she needs them.

Although the most of women want to wear visors and caps, almost every woman wears a cap at some time on the course. Which makes a cap a good idea for a golf gift? The best type of cap to get is one with a soft bill, so that it can better fit women around the face area and so she can keep the sun out of her face while she is playing.

Also another great golf gift for women is a feminine time watch. As you may have already known if you are a golfer yourself, is that women don’t wear watches on the course because it can tend to throw off their swing while playing, which is why time pieces make very good gifts for women on the course.

More great golf gifts for women can be light clothing so they can be less sweaty on the course and can swing better. There are many custom cut and light clothing products just for women to wear on the course. There are even matching pairs of clothing for men and women which would make a great gift for a couple who loves to golf.

Like the sport of golf, there is a wide market for golf gifts for women. All these gifts are wide in variety and all can be a gift for a women golfer. Even if you may think she already has it get something like it and make sure she can use it on the course. Remember all gifts that she can use on the course are the best golf gifts of all. If you don’t try then you don’t succeed so just try and make it special for her when you try and buy something that will help here. Anything that will help her on the course she will most greatly appreciate.

Loretta

Racing grannies - Possibly the best wind-up toy ever invented, the Racing Grannies are to geriatric speedway what Ferrari is to Formula One. As anyone who has been on the receiving end of a Zimmer-frame will know, grannies are formidable movers with legendary stamina, and these delightful wind-ups are testament to their endurance. With expressions of steely determination and complete with go-faster cardigans, these two are just a few winds away from the race of their lives. Arse Face Soap - Arse Face Soap is a hilarious bar of soap that’s sure to add some fun to your bathroom. Arse Face Soap is a generous size with a fresh scent; clearly stating which side of the soap should be hygienically used for certain areas of your body!
This is a very funny gift for guys who do not have cleanliness at the top of their priority list and, let’s face it; there are a lot of them out there.http://www.find-me-a-gift.co.uk/gifts-for-men/personal-gift/arse-face-soap.html

Jim’ll fix it badge - If you grew up in the ‘70 or ‘80 chances are that you grew up watching Jimmy Savile on the BBC’s Jim’ll Fix It show. Every week thousand of hopeful kids and grown ups alike would put pen to paper and compose their begging letters: “Dear Jim, will you fix it for me to spend a night in an igloo / be a pantomime horse / drive a crane… (You get the idea)” The show often received over 3,000 letters a day! Jim would “fix it” for several lucky children’s wishes to come true each week, this usually involved such treats as watching a troupe of Cub Scouts eating their entire packed lunch on a roller coater (and then being sick!) or similar, and finally the lucky participants would be presented with a “Jim fixed it for me” medal, the famous Jim’ll Fix It Badge! Well now after all these years we can finally put things right… in association with Sir Jimmy Savile himself… Jim’ll Fix It Soap On A Rope (or a ribbon to more accurate), just like the real thing only crafted from finest soap!http://www.find-me-a-gift.co.uk/jim-ll-fix-it-soap-on-a-rope.html

USB cup warmer - In case you didn’t know, the USB Cup Warmer is the hottest thing to hit the office since the water cooler. Pun intended, folks. “But what is it?” I hear the simpler of you ask. It’s easy. It’s a metal plate that plugs into your computer. You put your tea or coffee on it. Your hot drink stays hot. No need for plugs or batteries. Genius. You’re not crazy. You like hot drinks and you like to drink them at the intended temperature. Why do your co-workers, friends and family insist on bothering you when you’re trying to drink them? I don’t know, but I do know that the USB Cup Warmer will mean you never suffer the misfortune of cold hot drinks ever again. The perfect present for yourself or anyone at all! http://www.find-me-a-gift.co.uk/gifts-for-men/work-gift/usb-cup-warmer.html

Pretty Polly swearing parrot - Good old Not So Pretty Polly. Our boy’s living proof that if you shouldn’t always say the first thing that pops into your head. You’ve got to be so careful what you say these days, but luckily for us Polly the Insulting Parrot isn’t, and lets them rip with one insensitive and rude wisecrack after another. http://www.find-me-a-gift.co.uk/gifts-for-men/men/not-so-pretty-polly-swearing-parrot.html

Potty Putter - Introducing Potty Putter! The toilet time golf game that lets you practice your putting while going to the bathroom. Hi, yesterday I was backing out of my parking space and hit a maintenance man in our apartment complex. He was driving a golf cart and wasn’t hurt except for a little bump on his head. I damaged the golf cart a bit and my car and filed insurance reports. I feel really bad about hitting him and the shock he went through; would it be appropriate to send him a card along with a $25 gift card to a restaurant, would he be allowed to accept it and also would he think I’m just doing because he’s afraid I’ll sue? Anyway I feel pretty badly about it and told him how sorry I was but still would like to do something nice for him.

Golf Gift asked:

Being able to choose the right golf ball could be just what you need to turn an awful game to a wonderful one. However, it does not mean that you should just trot out and buy the golf ball that Tiger Woods uses to instantly turn you into a world champion. You would still need to choose the golf ball that would work for you.

The three different types of golf balls are: two-piece balls, three-piece balls and high performance balls.

If you wish to improve the distance shots you are making, you would need to use the two-piece golf ball. If you wish to improve your accuracy, then you might opt to use a three-piece golf ball or a high performance golf ball.

For beginners, two-piece golf balls would be more advisable as they are cheaper compared to the other golf balls. Also, two-piece golf balls would be great for those who are slow swingers since these balls have a larger rubber core, which would assure a faster speed.

For golfers whose accuracy is inconsistent, two-piece golf balls would also be the better choice, because three-piece golf balls just would not do if you would be making a couple of inaccurate hits in a game. Also, if you are still working on your precision, high performance balls would not be the best way to go as these balls would be more suitable for the professional golfers who have already mastered their games.

Golf balls are definitely something that you would need to give importance to as you learn more in golf and as you work on your skills to become better st your game. Being equipped with the right type of golf balls that would work to your advantage would definitely improve your score and eventually help you move on to the more competitive playing field.
